About God
We believe that God is the creator of the whole universe. He has
revealed himself as One being in three persons; Father, Son and
Holy Spirit.

1 v 1-4.
About Jesus
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the Second Person of the
Trinity, who lived a perfect life wholly free from sin. God punished
sin, but Jesus on the cross took the penalty of sin and the wrath
of God. Jesus rose from the grave on the third day, ascended into
heaven, and will one day return. He is the only hope for the people
living in this world.

About the Holy Spirit
We believe that before Jesus went back to heaven, he called His
disciples and gave them the great commission to go into all the
world and preach the Gospel. He promised them the Holy Spirit to
equip them for service, and this was fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost.
The filling of the Holy Spirit is for all Christians who believe.
The converts in the Acts shared in this baptism in the Holy Spirit
and the disciples recognised God was working among all people when
they heard the first Gentile believers speaking in new tongues.
This promise is for all believers today.

11 v 1-18 Ephesians 5 v 18-19 Luke 11 v 13
About Man
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but is fallen
and lost through sin. Sin has separated man from God, and if left
unforgiven will separate man from God for all eternity.
Bible references: Genesis 3 Isaiah 59 v 2 Romans 3 v
23
About the Bible
We believe that the Bible (i.e. the Old and New Testaments) is
the inspired word of God for all times. The Bible is the message
of God today, and is totally trustworthy. Its study is vital for
all Christians.

About Salvation
We believe that because Jesus died for us, we can have our sins
forgiven by faith in His Name, accepting Him as our Saviour. This
is what the Bible calls the New Birth. We can know that we are saved
for all eternity when we repent of our sins and believe that Jesus
died for us, accepting Jesus into our hearts and lives as our own
Saviour and Lord. We cannot earn the forgiveness of sins; it is
a gift from God made possible by the death of Jesus on the cross
of Calvary. We believe in public confession of our salvation by
water baptism.

About the Second
Coming of Jesus
We believe that Jesus will return again. We do not
know when, but we know that one day He will come back and take all
believers to be with Himself for all eternity. Signs around us suggest
that His return may not be too far away. Christians are called to
live their lives as those waiting for their Lord to return.

4 v 13-18, 5 v 1-9 Acts 1 v 11 Titus 2 v 13 Matthew 24 v 36-51 Mark

About Eternity
We believe that man will
live forever, either in heaven with Jesus or separated from Him
in hell forever. The Bible outlines some of the wonderful things
that God has prepared for those who have had their sins forgiven.
God was not willing that any should perish, but there is no other
way of having our sins forgiven except by accepting Jesus as our
Saviour and being born again.
