The Central Pentecostal Church(CPC) is a community of Christians which serves the wider community.

Wigston, along with Oadby, forms a borough in its own right. The church is particularly concerned to be a service to its immediate locality. It is a welcoming open door to the busy shopper on Thursday mornings, when he or she can have a rest and a free cup of tea or coffee in a friendly atmosphere.

Monday afternoons are times of friendship and inspiration for older people. The fellowship is known as Evergreens and lasts for about an hour including refreshments. Transport can often be arranged for the less able.

The church is also open during the Christmas Fayre and we have had as many as 200 through the doors.

The church is in the middle of Wigston and is one of the most longest established buildings in the town. It has been a facility for the area for 150 years.
